Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four years of relevant experience for Tool Crib Attendant 3 or six years for Tool Crib Attendant 4
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Active Department of Defense Secret clearance or higher
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance
  • Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working overhead
  • Experience using forklifts
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts including 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts
  • Compliance with hazardous materials handling procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four years of experience for Tool Crib Attendant 3, six years for Tool Crib Attendant 4
  • Experience in a tool crib, maintenance, manufacturing, or tool inventory control
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain Special Access Program clearance
  • Experience with forklifts preferred
  • Knowledge of TCMax or similar tool control software preferred
  • Prior aircraft flight line and HAZMAT experience preferred
  • Familiarity with PMEL, TMDE, and calibrated tools preferred

Job Duties

  • Receive, store, and issue tools, support equipment, consumables, and HAZMAT
  • Maintain records of tools issued to employees
  • Take periodic inventory and requisition stock as needed
  • Report damaged, worn out, or missing equipment
  • Clean, oil, and perform minor repairs on equipment
  • Dispose of surplus or obsolete equipment following established procedures
  • Ensure calibration of measuring devices
  • Use computers and digital scanners for data entry and inventory management
  • Handle hazardous materials safely using proper PPE
  • Support a rotating schedule including first, second, and third shifts
  • Climb ladders or stairs and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and stooping
