Job Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in tool crib, maintenance, manufacturing, or inventory control
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to stand for extended periods
  • Able to use, hold, manipulate small tools and parts
  • Must possess simple grasping, power grasping, and fine manipulation skills
  • Capable of using vibrating tools and performing torquing operations
  • Able to climb ladders or stairs
  • Must have a valid state issued driver’s license
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years experience in a tool crib, maintenance, manufacturing environment, or inventory control role
  • Experience with data entry and using digital scanners for tool control
  • Ability to learn and follow established processes and procedures
  • Familiarity with CribMaster program preferred
  • Experience with tool kitting preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access

Job Duties

  • Receive, store, and issue tools, machine tool fixtures, dies, and measuring devices
  • Maintain records of tools issued to employees
  • Take periodic inventory and requisition stock as needed
  • Report damaged, worn out, or missing equipment
  • Clean, oil, and perform minor repairs on equipment
  • Dispose of surplus or obsolete equipment per procedure
  • Ensure periodic calibration of measuring devices
