Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • two years experience in a tool crib maintenance manufacturing or inventory control role
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work standing for extended periods
  • able to use hold and manipulate small tools and parts
  • able to use vibrating and power tools and climb ladders or stairs
  • valid state issued driver’s license
  • able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • two years experience in a tool crib maintenance manufacturing or inventory control role
  • experience with data entry and digital scanners for inventory accountability
  • experience maintaining records and traceability of materials
  • valid state issued driver’s license
  • ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
  • preferred experience with CribMaster program
  • preferred experience with tool kitting

Job Duties

  • receive store and issue tools machine tool fixtures dies and measuring devices
  • maintain records of tools issued to employees
  • take periodic inventory and requisition stock as needed
  • report damaged worn out or missing equipment
  • clean oil and perform minor repairs on equipment
  • dispose of surplus or obsolete equipment according to established procedures
  • ensure measuring devices are periodically calibrated
