Job Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years additional education and/or experience in relevant environment
  • experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
  • must possess a valid state issued driver’s license
  • must have active DoD Secret clearance or higher with recent background check
  • must have ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance
  • must be able to perform moderate strenuous physical work including bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working overhead
  • experience and comfort operating forklifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years education or experience in tool crib, maintenance, manufacturing, or tool inventory control
  • experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
  • valid state-issued driver’s license
  • active DoD Secret clearance or higher with recent background investigation
  • ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance
  • physical ability to perform moderate strenuous work including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • experience with forklifts
  • preferred 4+ years of tool crib or production-related experience
  • knowledge of TCMax or similar tool control software
  • prior aircraft flight line experience
  • HAZMAT experience and certifications
  • familiarity with PMEL, TMDE, and calibrated tool processes

Job Duties

  • Receive, store, and issue tools, support equipment, consumables, and HAZMAT
  • maintain records of tools issued to employees
  • take periodic inventory and requisition stock as needed
  • report damaged, worn out, or missing equipment
  • clean, oil, and perform minor repairs on equipment
  • dispose of surplus or obsolete equipment according to procedures
  • ensure measuring devices are periodically calibrated
  • support 4/10 and 3/10 working rotations including all shifts
  • use and manipulate small tools and parts
  • operate vibrating tools and perform torquing operations
  • handle, manage, and dispose of hazardous materials following regulations
  • wear proper PPE when handling hazardous materials
  • follow established processes and procedures
  • maintain accurate records and provide traceability of materials
  • perform data entry and use digital scanners for tool control and inventory
