Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Five years of actual and recent systems experience preferred
  • Knowledge of general hand tools
  • Knowledge of ground support equipment preferred
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain government security clearance
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • US citizenship required to obtain a Tier 3 US Government Clearance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five years of actual and recent systems experience desired
  • Knowledge of general hand tools
  • Knowledge of ground support equipment desired
  • Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English

Job Duties

  • Receive, store, and issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies and equipment
  • Keep records of tools issued to and returned by workers
  • Search for lost or misplaced tools
  • Prepare periodic inventory or keep perpetual inventory and requisition stock as needed
  • Unpack and store new equipment
  • Visually inspect tools or measure with micrometer for wear or defects and report damaged or worn-out equipment
  • Coat tools with grease or other preservative and attach identification tags or engrave identifying information
