Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum five years relevant experience preferred
  • knowledge of hand tools and ground support equipment
  • must obtain and maintain Tier 3 US Government security clearance
  • US citizenship required for clearance
  • proficiency in English language communication
  • ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting and maneuvering tools
  • willingness to work flexible hours
  • adherence to safety policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • five years of recent systems experience desired
  • knowledge of general hand tools
  • basic knowledge of ground support equipment preferred
  • ability to read write speak and understand English
  • capability to obtain and maintain US Tier 3 Government clearance
  • strong organizational skills
  • effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • attention to detail and safety consciousness

Job Duties

  • Receive store and issue hand and machine tools dies replacement parts and shop supplies
  • keep accurate records of tools issued and returned
  • search for lost or misplaced tools
  • prepare periodic or maintain perpetual inventory
  • requisition stock as needed
  • unpack and store new equipment
  • visually inspect tools or measure with micrometer for wear or defects and report damaged or worn equipment
  • coat tools with preservative and attach identification tags or engrave identifying information
  • train personnel on tool usage and safety
  • support customer and contract related tasks
  • enforce company policy to ensure a safe work environment
  • report incidents and provide recommendations to supervisors
  • work flexibly within scheduled hours
  • maintain responsibility for issued tools and equipment
