Job Requirements

  • Food Handler Certification required
  • ability to read and understand simple instructions
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • ability to effectively present information to customers and other team members
  • ability to add and subtract two and three-digit numbers and perform these operations using units of American money
  • exceptional hygiene and grooming habits
  • previous restaurant experience preferred but not required
  • constant standing and walking
  • occasional stooping and kneeling
  • occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 60 pounds
  • occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps
  • frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine
  • constant receiving detailed information through oral communication
  • constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas using the spoken word
  • constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances

Job Duties

  • Welcome and greet guests
  • answer questions about our food, beverages, and other restaurant services
  • prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change
  • perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by management
  • monitor guests' dining experience to ensure they are satisfied with the food and service
  • respond promptly and courteously to requests and communicate guest feedback to managers
  • help maintain restaurant cleanliness
  • follow the closing checklist to close the restaurant properly
  • attend all scheduled team member meetings
