Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous restaurant experience is optional but preferred
  • ability to read and understand simple instructions
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • ability to effectively present information to customers and other team members
  • ability to add and subtract two and three-digit numbers and perform these operations using units of American money
  • must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits
  • food handler certification is required
  • ability to stand and walk constantly
  • ability to stoop and kneel occasionally
  • ability to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 60 pounds occasionally
  • ability to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps occasionally
  • ability to flex or rotate wrists and spine frequently
  • ability to communicate orally constantly
  • clarity of vision at near and or far distances constantly

Job Duties

  • Welcome and greet guests
  • answer questions about our food, beverages, and other restaurant services
  • prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change
  • perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by management
  • monitor guests' dining experience to ensure they are satisfied with the food and service
  • respond promptly and courteously to requests and communicate guest feedback to managers
  • help maintain restaurant cleanliness
  • follow the closing checklist to close the restaurant properly
  • attend all scheduled team member meetings
