Job Requirements

  • Ability to serve hot and cold dishes and drinks including alcoholic drinks
  • Respond promptly to guest needs
  • Provide friendly and hospitable service to guests
  • Speak clearly and listen to guests
  • Be consistently at work and on time
  • Follow instructions and respond to management direction
  • Observe safety and security procedures
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work open, mid, and close shifts
  • Possession of relevant food handler and alcohol service certifications

Job Duties

  • Be very knowledgeable about the menu items
  • Immediately greet the guest
  • Display your personality
  • Take their drink order first
  • Remind the guest of the daily specials and featured items menu
  • Answer any questions the guest asks
  • Deliver their drinks
  • Take their order and send it to the kitchen
  • Verify order accuracy when food runner or server brings items to table
  • Ask if anything additional is needed such as extra pitas or condiments
  • Follow up consistently with the guest verifying happiness with food and refilling drinks
  • Pre-bus tables and provide leftover container if necessary
  • Suggest dessert items and serve guest dessert orders
  • Provide the guest the check and accept payment
  • Thank the guest and welcome them back
  • Sell alcoholic drinks and check identification for age
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of restaurant and lounge area
  • Complete all required side work
  • Work with till and turn in balance as required
  • Provide courteous service and be cordial to employees and guests
