Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Must have food handler's card
- Local food safety certification where applicable
- Local alcohol service certification where applicable
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Capacity to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Good oral communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including open, mid, and close
- Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol
- Willingness to adhere to safety and hygiene standards

Job Duties
- Be knowledgeable about the menu items
- Greet guests immediately
- Display your personality and be yourself
- Take drink orders first
- Remind guests of daily specials and featured items
- Answer guest questions
- Deliver drinks
- Take food orders and send them to the kitchen
- Verify accuracy of food delivery and announce items to guests
- Follow up consistently to ensure guest satisfaction and refill drinks
- Pre-bus tables and provide leftover containers if needed
- Suggest dessert items and serve dessert orders
- Present the check and accept payment
- Thank guests and welcome them back
- Sell alcoholic drinks and check identification for age
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of restaurant and lounge
- Complete all side work
- Handle cash till and balance if required
- Provide courteous and cordial service to all employees and guests
