NTE Mobility Partners and LBJ Infrastructure Group are prominent entities engaged in the operation and management of major Texas transportation infrastructure projects, including the North Tarrant Express and the LBJ Express. These projects are pivotal in improving traffic flow, reducing congestion, and enhancing mobility in the densely populated Dallas-Fort Worth area. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in transportation or traffic management environments
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and coordinate under pressure
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Typing speed of 30-35 WPM
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Familiarity with regional geography preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent considered
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant job experience in transportation, traffic management, incident response, radio dispatch, or commercial operations environment preferred
  • Familiarity with Dallas LBJ I-635, Mid-Cities Region I-183, Fort Worth 35W and I-820 geography is a plus
  • Punctual with reliable adherence to schedule
  • Ability to work schedules including nights and weekends
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures
  • Strong multitasking, problem-solving skills
  • Effective under pressure
  • Excellent verbal, written, listening communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand maps
  • Typing speed of 30-35 words per minute
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PC applications

Job Duties

  • Utilizes DYNAC Advanced Traffic Management System software for real-time monitoring of traffic flow and incident management
  • Uses CCTV cameras and networks such as Waze to detect, verify, and coordinate responses to traffic events including accidents, congestion, and construction
  • Monitors and manually adjusts toll rates displayed on Toll Rate Signs based on traffic conditions and guidelines
  • Communicates via telephone and radio with incident responders, field personnel, and public agencies to report and receive information on road hazards or obstructions
  • Sends Traffic Advisories emails detailing accident type, severity, and event impacts such as injuries and lane blockages
  • Activates and updates Dynamic Message Signs to inform motorists about traffic events, backups, delays, alternative routes, and Amber/Silver alerts
  • Detects and verifies field device failures using system diagnostics and notifies ITS Maintenance staff promptly
