Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred but not required
  • valid welding certification preferred
  • 3-5 years of welding experience with stainless steel
  • ability to weld MIG and TGAW
  • willing to work third shift Monday to Thursday 8:15 pm to 6:45 am
  • ability to pass 6G code test pulse test and ASME certification
  • ability to work in confined spaces
  • physically able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • must follow strict safety procedures and use PPE
  • dependable with strong interpersonal skills
  • able to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred but not required
  • valid certification in welding from an accredited institution preferred
  • at least 3-5 years experience fabricating and welding with ability to weld with MIG and TGAW stainless steel
  • experience in ASME shop a plus
  • ability to fabricate
  • forklift training preferred
  • ability to polish and finish stainless steel
  • strong teamwork skills
  • ability to interact professionally appropriately and courteously with customers co-workers and outside parties
  • sound operation abilities with overhead cranes forklifts and hand tools
  • detail-oriented with ability to follow through on assignments
  • understanding of safety standards including PPE use
  • trustworthy dependable and able to work well with team members

Job Duties

  • Interpret blueprints drawing and measurements to plan layouts
  • weld small and large components
  • assess welded surfaces structures and components to identify errors
  • follow and enforce strict safety regulations including always wearing appropriate PPE
  • weld components in flat vertical and overhead positions
  • examine weld for bead size and other specifications
  • ability to be in confined spaces
  • perform up to 60 percent code work including passing 6G code test pulse test and ASME certification
  • perform other duties as assigned to help the team
