Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred but not required
- valid welding certification preferred
- 3-5 years of welding experience with stainless steel
- ability to weld MIG and TGAW
- willing to work third shift Monday to Thursday 8:15 pm to 6:45 am
- ability to pass 6G code test pulse test and ASME certification
- ability to work in confined spaces
- physically able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- must follow strict safety procedures and use PPE
- dependable with strong interpersonal skills
- able to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred but not required
- valid certification in welding from an accredited institution preferred
- at least 3-5 years experience fabricating and welding with ability to weld with MIG and TGAW stainless steel
- experience in ASME shop a plus
- ability to fabricate
- forklift training preferred
- ability to polish and finish stainless steel
- strong teamwork skills
- ability to interact professionally appropriately and courteously with customers co-workers and outside parties
- sound operation abilities with overhead cranes forklifts and hand tools
- detail-oriented with ability to follow through on assignments
- understanding of safety standards including PPE use
- trustworthy dependable and able to work well with team members
Job Duties
- Interpret blueprints drawing and measurements to plan layouts
- weld small and large components
- assess welded surfaces structures and components to identify errors
- follow and enforce strict safety regulations including always wearing appropriate PPE
- weld components in flat vertical and overhead positions
- examine weld for bead size and other specifications
- ability to be in confined spaces
- perform up to 60 percent code work including passing 6G code test pulse test and ASME certification
- perform other duties as assigned to help the team
