Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant experience in food preparation and kitchen supervision
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to monitor and control food quality and quantity
- Skills to manage staffing schedules and performance
- Competence in delegating tasks and supervising employees
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen or food service environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Experience with Asian cuisine preparation preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage and motivate kitchen staff
- Familiarity with inventory requisition and control
Job Duties
- Coordinate and facilitate all food preparation, presentation, and service procedures as directed by the Executive Chef
- Monitor quality and quantity of prepared food
- Ensure proper rotation and utilization of stored food to prevent waste
- Monitor employee performance and provide instruction as needed
- Monitor staffing levels including early out requests and overtime
- Delegate work assignments to cooks and kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen and storage areas are clean, sanitary, and meet health and safety standards
