Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in food preparation and kitchen supervision
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to monitor and control food quality and quantity
  • Skills to manage staffing schedules and performance
  • Competence in delegating tasks and supervising employees
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen or food service environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Experience with Asian cuisine preparation preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage and motivate kitchen staff
  • Familiarity with inventory requisition and control

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and facilitate all food preparation, presentation, and service procedures as directed by the Executive Chef
  • Monitor quality and quantity of prepared food
  • Ensure proper rotation and utilization of stored food to prevent waste
  • Monitor employee performance and provide instruction as needed
  • Monitor staffing levels including early out requests and overtime
  • Delegate work assignments to cooks and kitchen staff
  • Ensure kitchen and storage areas are clean, sanitary, and meet health and safety standards
