Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year bartending experience
  • Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to input information accurately and efficiently into MICROS system
  • Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining composure
  • Ability to work well with co-workers within and outside department
  • Ability to prioritize and organize in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year bartending experience
  • Developed knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer with experience selling and presenting wines
  • Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management, and co-workers
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into MICROS
  • Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up on guest requests and needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service, service recovery and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Follow, enforce, comply, and adhere to all Omni rules, policies, procedures, standards and recipes at all times
  • Properly set-up and maintain a clean efficient bar throughout the shift
  • Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service
  • Take orders and answer questions, offer suggestions on both food and beverage menu selections and daily specials
  • Mix drinks for servers according to standard recipes
  • Familiarity with the wine list and the stemware and appropriate garnishes used
  • Follow procedures as outlined in employee manual and bartender's manual including jigger pour and making drinks for servers only when rung in on Micros
  • Ensure consistency in presentation and recipes of all cocktails
  • Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws
  • Record transactions in MICROS system at time of order and adhere to cash handling standards
  • Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants
  • Present accurate check to guest and process payment
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
  • Polish and clean the water glasses in assigned station before opening hours
  • Perform station set-up and breakdown and complete side-work
