Job Requirements
- 1-2 years experience preferably in ticketing or related fields
- Previous Tessitura or computerized ticketing/CRM software experience preferred
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Self-motivated and able to multitask
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to accurately enter data into CRM systems for extended periods
- Degree or certificate in theater arts or related field preferred
- Experience in theater arts organization preferred
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in ticketing or related combination of education and experience
- Previous Tessitura system experience or intermediate knowledge of ticketing/CRM software preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively and build trust
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional customer service skills with an empathetic and proactive approach
- Proficient in written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and Google Docs, Forms, Apps
- Self-starter capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Degree or certificate in theater arts or related field preferred
- Experience in theater arts organizations desired
Job Duties
- Create exceptional experiences for subscribers, donors, and ticket buyers through phone, online, and in-person support
- Serve as front-line support during performances, helping patrons with same-day sales and resolving ticketing concerns
- Lead daily box office operations including pre-show setup, will-call coordination, and ticket batch printing
- Maintain the integrity of the Tessitura system through data management, inventory control, and customer record updates
- Build shows, create promotional codes, manage packages and fees, coordinate scanner setup for events
- Generate targeted reports and create segmented lists for marketing and outreach
- Process subscription renewals and coordinate comp ticket fulfillment with Education and Community Outreach departments
- Handle administrative functions including check processing, filing, and patron outreach calls
- Mentor Ticket Services Associates and troubleshoot system issues
- Serve as event Supervisor on Duty to ensure smooth operations during performances
- Support the General Manager with special projects and daily administrative tasks
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
