Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in box office management or related field preferred
  • Proficiency in ticketing software including Ticketmaster and AXS
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Strong familiarity with ticketing software such as Ticketmaster and AXS

Job Duties

  • Oversee the daily operations of the box office, ensuring smooth and efficient ticketing services for all events
  • Serve as the primary liaison between promoters, venue staff, and the ticketing company
  • Coordinate ticketing information including final seating configurations, pricing, inventory management, and ticket order processing
  • Maintain event information within ticketing software including final scaling, seating configurations, building events, placing holds, managing inventory during on-sale periods, creating offers, and processing ticket orders
  • Prepare day-of-show settlement reports ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to promoters and internal finance
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive event files including seat holds, event audits, and ticket build instructions
  • Assist in hiring, training, and development of part-time box office staff and implement evolving ticketing technologies
  • Provide scan counts to promoters during ingress and maintain communication with venue departments
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries and service requests
  • Independently handle box office inquiries and issues ensuring effective resolutions
  • Accurately sell tickets via Ticketmaster and AXS systems with outstanding customer service
  • Be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays to accommodate event schedules
  • Contribute to strategic planning to improve box office operations and customer service
