Job Requirements

  • One year of box office experience required
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work evening and Saturday events
  • Faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
  • Worthy to hold a current temple recommend
  • Effective leadership and supervisory experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least 3 years of box office experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with Paciolan software or similar ticketing systems
  • Ability to handle busy periods effectively

Job Duties

  • Prepare events for sale in the back office using Paciolan software
  • Resolve customer problems using creative methods and diplomacy
  • Supervise student and category 1 employees during office hours including working evening and Saturday events
  • Update office calendars for over 300 events yearly
  • Answer phones and sell tickets when demand is high
  • Work independently without direct supervision for 95 percent of the time
  • Make almost any decision to solve customer problems within university and ticket office policy
