Job Requirements

High school or equivalent diploma
one-year related work experience or two years' work experience without diploma
ability to comprehend written job description, cleaning instructions and material safety data sheet
must be able to operate a cash register and make correct change
must be bondable
ability to perform basic communications with customers and employees
capable of lifting 5 pounds continuously, frequently lifting 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, and frequently moving 50 or more pounds using dolly, cart or truck
must work well with minimal supervision

Job Qualifications

good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
self-starter with the ability to perform well with minimum supervision

Job Duties

Provide excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner
receive, lift, and transport donated and purchased items
sort, price, and prepare clothing and other merchandise for sale
stock and display items on the sales floor
operate the cash register, process transactions, and provide accurate change
reconcile the cash drawer at the end of the shift and prepare daily bank deposits
assist in loading and unloading the store's truck, customers' vehicles, and donors' vehicles
