Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- One year of retail experience preferred
- Basic Microsoft Suite experience including email, word documents
- Ability to lift 25lbs constantly and up to 50lbs occasionally
- Ability to complete 1-2 hours of physically taxing work without a break
- Ability to stand or walk for 3 hours without sitting
- Ability to complete 3 hours of physically taxing work occasionally without a break
- Ability to move quickly for 500ft
- Ability to complete visual scans of indoor/outdoor areas
- Ability to perform repetitive wrist, hand, finger motions constantly
- Ability to communicate clearly with others
- Ability to work in noisy, distraction-filled environments
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and outdoor elements
- Commitment to submit to authority of Christian Bible
- Commitment to continual training and fellowship in local church
- Ability to remain calm and de-escalate conflict situations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- One year of retail experience preferred
- Basic Microsoft Suite experience including email and word documents required
- Strong grasp of mathematics to catch and correct errors
- Dynamic people skills to interact with diverse customers
- Ability to learn and independently use new software within 15 days
- Ability to answer, transfer and hold calls on a multi-facility phone system within 15 days
- Respectful interaction with customers, guests, and volunteers regardless of background
- Detail oriented, organized, thorough with the ability to multitask
- Ability to assess accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work
- Ability to de-escalate situations while staying calm under pressure
- Commitment to Christian faith principles and conduct
- Active membership in a local evangelical church
Job Duties
- Greet customers as they enter and exit the store
- Accurately account for cash drawer throughout shift including counting in and out at the start/end of each shift
- Complete transactions with customers on the cash register offering punctual, friendly service
- Ensure accurate transactions on the cash register including credit card and cash payments
- Maintain assigned areas for the sales floor ensuring it is stocked, clean, properly priced
- Stay within sight of the cash register, ensuring no customers are left waiting
- Maintain good communication with the department using all available tools
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
- Attend all meetings and training sessions as scheduled
- Show the love of Christ and be ready to share the gospel
