Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- culinary education or experience preferred
- three years of advanced cooking skills required
- previous customer service experience required
- must possess excellent communication skills including the ability to read write and speak effectively
- must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees
- must have the ability to resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- must be able to stand walk and move through all areas of the casino
- maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast paced casino environment
- work involves moderate exposure to hot and cold temperatures and or loud noises
- moderate physical activity is required along with handling objects up to fifty pounds
- work environment involves some exposure to physical risk which requires following basic safety precautions
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- insure food items are properly stored including raw materials and prepared items
- inspect all outgoing orders to ensure proper preparation portion control and garnishing
- insure availability of all items such as soups sauces and gravies prior to restaurant opening while assembling necessary supplies and equipment
- take inventory of all meats and seafood with knowledge of required amounts
- coordinate food orders to the appropriate cooks
- prepare all food items strictly according to recipe manual specifications
- maintain clean work areas utensils and equipment
- regulate temperatures of ovens broilers and grills
- maintain proper food temperatures in compliance with ServSafe standards
- properly label date and rotate all products for safety and sanitation
- command all kitchen stations including roast fry pasta vegetable grill pantry breakfast saute and high volume cooking
- collaborate with Sous and Room Chefs for daily operational needs
- teach and mentor Cooks and Production Cooks
- work harmoniously with team members in a high-pressure environment
- report on time in full uniform and proper badge
- provide prompt and courteous food and beverage service
- maintain professionalism and positive interactions with guests coworkers and management
- stay current with information security policies
- meet attendance guidelines
- complete all required training within nine months
- attend necessary meetings
- adapt duties and responsibilities as needed according to business requirements
