Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with 5 or fewer points
  • Ability to perform direct care and support duties
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to complete documentation accurately
  • Ability to follow safety protocols
  • Willingness to work variable full-time or part-time shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with 5 or fewer points
  • No experience required
  • Formal education in arithmetic including addition and subtraction
  • Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English
  • STNA certification or listing on Ohio Nurse Aide Registry for Veteran Services positions
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle for transporting consumers as required

Job Duties

  • Assist with eating, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, oral hygiene, dressing, grooming, communication, money management, etiquette, and social skills
  • Implement active treatment activities such as gym, pavilion, activity room and pool
  • Assist with planning and shopping activities including shopping, vocational skills, hair appointments
  • Complete various daily and monthly documentation including reporting unusual incidents or medication reactions
  • Perform light housekeeping duties in living areas
  • Assist with redirecting unsafe actions to bring about positive outcomes
