Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Complete basic food handling training and obtain local or state mandated certification if required
  • Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance
  • Maintain an energetic and friendly attitude during shifts
  • Deliver excellent guest service
  • Possess verbal and written communication skills in English for all ages and personalities
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Ability to take and follow directions
  • Respond with urgency
  • Accurate cash handling and basic math skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
  • Operate Cinemark's POS system for all transactions on the assigned register
  • Verify tickets at the podium and direct guests to auditoriums
  • Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with MPAA rating system, studio admittance policy, and company policy
  • Provide pricing, movie, special event, alternative movie selections, and general theatre information
  • Respond to phone calls and guest questions professionally
  • Conduct theatre inspections to monitor movie presentation and sound quality
  • Keep theatre property clean and free from debris
  • Prepare food and operate cooking, warming, and popping equipment
  • Consistently sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
  • Comply with all food safety laws
  • Monitor safety and security issues and report to management
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
  • Perform other assigned work-related duties
