Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 3 years management experience preferably in theatre operations food and beverage or hospitality
- ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
- physical ability to be present on-site and perform essential functions
- strong leadership and decision-making skills
- excellent organizational and time management abilities
- effective communication skills
- knowledge of health safety and labor laws
- willingness to travel occasionally for company meetings and support at other locations

Job Duties
- Lead guide and mentor employees to maximize the theatre's profitability
- provide hands-on lead-by-example leadership to staff
- analyze business trends to develop and implement plans to increase sales and meet or exceed goals
- minimize shrink expenses and payroll
- manage risks such as employees' and guests' safety loss prevention and emergency situations
- ensure compliance with all internal company policies and procedures
- maintain compliance with fire health building and labor laws regulations and statutes
- manage human resources responsibilities including hiring firing managing staff conducting safety meetings facilitating communication enforcing policies overseeing illness and injury prevention program monitoring company standards
- partner with corporate office to set and maintain financial goals and marketing standards
- understand the theatre's financials and key performance metrics
- achieve or exceed key financial and metric targets
- maintain a world-class showcase theatre professionalism respect cleanliness and theatre pride
- offer suggestions for improvement to management
- ensure employees and guests are in a safe environment
- resolve theatre operational issues timely and professionally
- assume responsibility for nightly and weekly documentation and reporting including cash handling deposits coupons gift certificates
- ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels and concession items are effectively stocked
- keep theatre operations under budget and financially sustainable
- control costs including operating expenses supplies concessions janitorial fees and maintenance charges
- ensure all repairs and maintenance are done timely and cost-effectively including concessions equipment projection equipment and other theatre property
- manage employee work schedules to maximize efficiencies and minimize payroll costs
- develop train and mentor high-performing employees for upward mobility
- complete employees annual or periodic performance reviews
- resolve employee conflict and issues
- partner with HR to ensure employer-of-choice status
- create a workplace that respects diversity values equity and inclusion
- document and develop performance improvement plans for problematic employees
- create a high-morale workplace
- train employees in theatre operations
- communicate regularly with assistant managers about achieving results
- coach for improvement to all levels of employees
- create a workplace by retaining rewarding high-performing employees coaching and counseling others as needed
