Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • culinary arts certification preferred
  • minimum two years related experience in kitchen supervision or culinary roles
  • ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • excellent communication abilities
  • ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • flexibility to work various shifts as required

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary arts or culinary certificate preferred
  • at least two years of experience in large, complex food operations
  • strong background in food and beverage programs
  • experience in hospitality and brand management
  • leadership skills in communication and team motivation
  • ability to foster a positive team environment
  • good written and verbal communication skills
  • professional maturity and self-confidence

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and back-of-house tasks
  • supervise, train, and coordinate kitchen team members
  • manage opening and closing duties including equipment operability checks
  • conduct food safety walkthroughs to maintain hygiene standards
  • assist with inventory control and food preparation
  • ensure quality standards in food presentation and preparation
  • motivate kitchen staff to consistently deliver menu items
  • monitor cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of kitchen area
  • train staff on safety protocols to prevent injuries
  • report equipment repairs and team member issues to management
  • perform other assigned duties as requested
