Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 plus years like volume bartending experience
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
  • Servsafe and Tips certified
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace
  • Have a great personality and desire to serve guests
  • Possess basic math skills
  • Able to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
  • Able to work standing for long periods
  • Able to safely lift up to 25 pounds
  • Able to work on holidays and weekends

Job Duties

  • Make all guests feel comfortable and let them know you are there to personally take care of them
  • Know regular guests by name
  • Know the brands of beer, wine and liquor offered including ingredients, garnishes, proper glassware, and prices
  • Inform guests of specialty drinks and make genuine recommendations
  • Receive and understand beverage orders and enter them in the point-of-sale system
  • Maintain cash bank and follow established cash handling procedures
  • Continuously watch for signs of intoxication and comply with all alcoholic beverage laws and policies
  • Perform side work at the start and end of each shift
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Perform and document physical inventory counts when directed
  • Prepare final bills, process payments, and accept credit card charges or make change
  • Participate in proactive communication to solve operational, HR, and financial issues
  • Fill in as needed to ensure smooth and efficient bar operation as directed
