Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Must be available to work nights and weekends
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for handling payments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a server or customer service role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to memorize menu items and specials
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and basic computer software
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
Job Duties
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of The Wildbirch Hotel
- Present menus to guests and answer questions about menu items, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services
- Monitor and observe guests dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service and respond promptly and courteously to correct any problems
- Take food or beverages orders from guests
- Explain to guests how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods
- Inform guests of menu changes and daily specials and make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy
- Write guests' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff
