Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years cooking experience preferred
- Culinary or apprenticeship program preferred
- High school diploma preferred
- Ability to use kitchen tools dexterously
- Physical ability to lift push or pull up to 100 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work under pressure
- Flexibility to work days evenings weekends and holidays
- Must obtain necessary sanitation and food service certifications
- Ability to work in confined spaces and noisy environments
Job Qualifications
- Previous cooking experience
- Culinary or apprenticeship program preferred
- High school diploma preferred
- Ability to use kitchen equipment including knives spoons spatulas tongs slicers
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods work in high noise and varying temperature conditions
- Ability to obtain local state or federal licenses or certifications for sanitation liquor or food service
Job Duties
- Prepare station-specific food items according to recipes ensuring consistency and quality
- Monitor product storage portion sizes and special items like stocks and sauces
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas to meet Health Department regulations
- Ensure equipment is clean sanitized and operational
- Uphold high standards of food production and presentation
- Maintain personal hygiene and sanitation practices
- Manage station setup breakdown and prep work
