Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years food and beverage serving or related experience at a luxury hotel or restaurant
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English
- Proficient knowledge of wines, spirits and mixed drinks
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to maneuver in dining area carrying full trays
- Flexible to work long hours
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Friendly, courteous and service-oriented attitude
- Maintain high personal appearance and grooming standards
- Comply with hotel standards and regulations
- Attend all required meetings and trainings
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Able to cross-train in other hotel areas
- Effective problem-solving and anticipating needs
- Maintain regular attendance as per schedule

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and fellow employees
- Have thorough knowledge of menus and current specials
- Service guests with food and beverage requirements efficiently and courteously
- Pre-bus tables removing soiled dishes after each course
- Be familiar with the operation of the P.O.S system
- Perform cashiering functions by closing checks and preparing end of shift paperwork
- Perform opening and closing procedures and side-work duties
- Ensure tables and side stands are stocked, tidy and clean
- Service guests to standard steps of service
- Breakdown trays of soiled dishes and linen in dishroom
- Answer telephone according to standards
- Consistently upsell food, beverage and promotional items
- Be familiar with fire extinguisher locations and usage
- Receive and deliver food and beverage orders
- Collect payment
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
