Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum relevant bartending experience
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation and garnishing
- Ability to handle fast-paced and high-pressure environments
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Maintain personal hygiene and professional appearance
- Punctuality and reliability

- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols

Job Qualifications
- Hands-on food and beverage industry experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of hospitality operations
- Strong knowledge of mixology and beverage service including liquor, beer, and wine
- Experience in a large convention hotel preferred
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to engage guests at all levels
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Computer literacy including payroll, Micros, and POS systems
- Serve Safe certified
- Unexpired TIPs certification
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Maintain and refine service standards consistently
- Ensure compliance with hotel standards and local laws
- Prepare and maintain bar areas including setup, garnish prep, and breakdown
- Serve beverages following the hotel’s standard operating procedures
- Perform bar cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Check identification for proof of age
- Accurately handle POS procedures and cash/credit transactions
- Provide warm, personalized guest service and respond to guest complaints
- Attend daily meetings to coordinate event service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of restaurant spaces
- Report maintenance or housekeeping issues
- Ensure safety and sanitation standards are met
- Contribute to food and beverage control and inventory
- Uphold professional appearance and conduct
- Respond effectively to emergency or safety situations
- Perform any other duties assigned by management
