Job Requirements
- Hands-on food and beverage knowledge
- minimum relevant bar experience in a large convention hotel preferred
- ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor and composure
- proven ability to engage guests at all levels
- passionate about providing warm, engaging, and personalized service
- ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate verbally and in writing in English
- able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
- able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- computer literacy including payroll systems, Micros, POS systems
- Serve Safe certified
- unexpired TIPs required

Job Duties
- Consistent maintenance and refinement of service standards
- ensures compliance with all hotel standards and local laws
- ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation awareness standards
- prepare daily for health department and Ecosure inspections
- perform all banquet side work as assigned by management including cleaning of bar and beverage equipment, portable bars, back bars, walls, and carpets surrounding assigned work area
- ensure positive guest service and respond positively to complaints, taking all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests
- assist in controlling food and beverage quantities by avoiding over/under preparing
- assist with set up and break down of all banquet bar areas
- attend all required department trainings and meetings
- perform any other duties required by leadership
