Job Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of in-field experience as a massage therapist
  • previous experience in a leadership, lead, or senior role
  • previous experience working in a spa, medical office, or wellness center
  • active Nevada State Board of Massage Therapy License
  • ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

Job Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of two years of work experience in the massage therapy field with diploma, degree, or certificate
  • must have a minimum of three years of work experience in the massage therapy field without diploma, degree, or certificate
  • successful completion of High School, its equivalent, or a state-authorized examination certificate
  • ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • knowledge of and ability to apply relevant current education methodologies and techniques
  • active Nevada State Board of Massage Therapy License

Job Duties

  • Welcome and assist clients, guests, and students in person or by phone
  • respond to or route inquiries professionally
  • schedule appointments and perform appointment confirmations via calls or texts
  • conduct facility tours to educate clients about services offered at The Spa at Northwest
  • respond to and manage client escalations with professionalism and empathy
  • ensure a warm, welcoming, and efficient front-office experience for all visitors
  • assist with front office staffing coverage and day-to-day coordination as needed
  • maintain confidentiality in all student and client interactions
  • review and adhere to departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • support staff in assigned project-based work
  • other duties as assigned by the Front Office Department supervisor
