Job Requirements
- food handler's license and liquor server permits as required or ability to obtain
- minimum age 25 with valid driver license and clean driving record
- proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- reliable transportation
- ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts
- reliable and consistent attendance
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- two or more years of supervisory experience preferred
- hospitality or hotel work experience preferred
- strong customer service skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- leadership and team management skills
- proficiency in front desk operations and reservations systems
- ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism and discretion
- detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- welcome guests with a polished and professional demeanor, overseeing check-in and check-out processes
- provide detailed information about the hotel, amenities, and local recommendations
- process guest reservations, payments, and special requests accurately and confidentially
- offer upgrades, amenities, and special services to enhance guest experiences
- coordinate with bell staff and valet for transportation and luggage assistance
- handle guest complaints and concerns professionally using Oxford Collection guest recovery standards
- maintain knowledge of VIP guests, repeat visitors, and special accommodations
- ensure coordination with housekeeping, valet, bell staff, and food and beverage teams for guest requests
- ensure accurate room inventory management and report guest incidents
- assist in implementing company programs and supervise daily front desk operations
- review billing disputes and ensure guest satisfaction
- maintain knowledge of hotel promotions and special events
- serve as a role model for front desk agents, leading by example
- monitor and contribute to upselling efforts
- lead pre-shift meetings
- assist in supervision and evaluation of front desk agents, providing training and guidance
- review time and attendance records and assist in scheduling
- obtain sales leads and support other hotel functions
- proactively present solutions for problem resolution
- attend staff meetings in Front Office Manager's absence
- ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards with front desk and valet/bellman staff
- adhere to attendance policies and maintain scheduled availability
- participate in drivers program and other hotel-related duties as assigned
