Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary experience
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef
  • Ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff
  • Experience managing culinary budgets and labor
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Capability to perform under pressure
  • Commitment to maintaining high culinary standards

Job Qualifications

  • 5 years of progressive culinary experience
  • 2 years in a Sous Chef capacity
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and labor costs
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience working with sustainably sourced seafood
  • Knowledge of wood-fired cooking methods
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including production, prep, private parties and special events, stewarding, purchasing and receiving
  • Ensure culinary staff create menu items to highest standards
  • Run the kitchen professionally and effectively in absence of Executive Chef
  • Manage culinary budget and monitor labor, scheduling and overtime
  • Lead and maintain a cohesive culinary team
  • Work calmly under pressure
  • Maintain maximum productivity and guest satisfaction
