Job Requirements
- Ability to genuinely and comfortably engage with a diverse group of customers
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to collaborate and be adaptable in the workplace
- Standing required for entire work shift
- Ability to bend, lift, open and move product up to 50 pounds
- Use ladders for merchandising and light adjustments
- Operate office equipment and technology such as computers, tablets, and phones
Job Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and work as a team
- Knowledge or willingness to learn about products, activities, and community relevant to customers
- Attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Job Duties
- Provide a high level of personalized customer engagement
- Serve as a one-stop resource for customers, providing relevant product, community, and activity-based knowledge
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and share relevant knowledge to enhance customer experience
- Achieve sales and productivity goals by utilizing all available resources
- Assist in execution and maintenance of visual directives and standards including merchandise presentation and housekeeping
- Assume cashier duties as needed
- Assist in execution of Loss Prevention initiatives
- Assist in overall visual and operational maintenance of the store
