Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Six months experience as a server in a comparable restaurant preferred
RAMP certification preferred
Availability during peak operating times including weekends, holidays, and special events
Ability to operate point-of-sale system
Basic knowledge of food presentation, preparation, and handling
Basic math skills and ability to handle money
Ability to work standing for 8 hours or more
Ability to safely lift and carry trays weighing 20 to 25 pounds
Excellent guest service skills with attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills
Clear communication abilities
Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
Maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
Highly organized and detail oriented
Effective at listening to and resolving guest concerns

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests
Welcome and greet guests making all guests feel comfortable
Inform guests of specials and menu options
Make recommendations guests will enjoy
Up sell food and beverage items using suggestive selling techniques
Take food and beverage orders and enter them into point-of-sale system
Deliver food and beverages to guests timely
Perform side work as required by service station assignment
Maintain clean service areas
Monitor guests dining experience to ensure satisfaction
Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests
Prepare final bill and process payments
Assist fellow servers and bus persons as needed
Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
