Job Requirements

  • Able to read, write and speak verbally in English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with the hospitality industry
  • Ability to establish and maintain an effective relationship with all department management, staff, personnel and general public
  • High school or equivalent
  • Prefer one year or more of service assistance in a fine dining outlet

Job Duties

  • Provide positive first and last impression of guests when entering and leaving the restaurant/lounge
  • Manage distribution of seat covers to service staff both fairly and for flow of restaurant to prevent any delayed service by staff
  • Effectively take reservations by guests via phone and in person to best suit flow of business for restaurant efficiency
  • Able to correctly discuss, identify, and detail all food and beverage items on the menu
  • Maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe work environment
  • Manage seating of guests to effectively keep kitchen organized and timed correctly
  • Must be proficient in multi tasking
