Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager or Restaurant Manager or in a leadership role within a resort or restaurant
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with frequent lifting of objects up to 25 lbs
- Capability to walk, stand, reach, handle, feel, talk, hear and see as part of daily physical activity
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace and pass pre-employment substance abuse testing

- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations including staff management, inventory control, and financial management
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the food service industry
- Culinary knowledge and passion for steakhouse cuisine is a plus
Job Duties
- Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel and discipline restaurant staff for efficient operation
- Organize and conduct pre-shift and department meetings to communicate pertinent information to staff such as house count and menu changes
- Schedule and direct staff in their work assignments
- Maximize restaurant profitability by controlling food, beverage, and labor costs and monitoring budget to ensure operational efficiency
- Ensure par stock levels by calculating inventory, ordering, and stocking products
- Develop and implement cost savings and profit enhancement measures
- Utilize computer systems to charge customers, create forecast and revenue reports, and retrieve data
- Monitor food quality and service standards throughout the facility and take corrective actions
- Verify food temperatures, appearance, taste, and preparation methods to maintain quality standards
- Provide guidance and implement adjustments for consistency
- Review and evaluate customer satisfaction, recommend and implement new marketing or operational policies, resolve complaints
- Ensure compliance with restaurant policies and all local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation of work and service areas
- Participate in developing and marketing new menus to attract targeted customer markets
- Promote cross-selling within hotel outlets and the company
- Ensure associates apply Forbes standards across all areas
