Job Requirements
- Have 1 to 6 months of experience in hotel housekeeping
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 70 pounds
- Have normal, corrective vision and ability to distinguish colors and symbols
- Be able to work in varying environmental conditions which may be hot, cold, noisy or contain secondhand smoke
- Have manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull and grasp as required by the job
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members and management in both written and verbal form
- Understand and comply with all company, departmental and Gaming Control Board rules and regulations, policies and procedures
- Have 1 to 6 months of related experience
- Ability to work any day of the week and any shift including weekends and holidays
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and guests
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Practice, support and promote the company service standards at all times
- Communicate with guests in a professional manner
- Answer guest questions with an understanding of the department and property
- Perform cleaning and maintenance according to OSHA chemical Right-To-Know standards
- Assist in accommodating guest special requests and escort guests as needed
- Observe and report unusual or suspicious behavior
