Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Line Cook in fine dining or upscale concept
  • culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff
  • strong attention to detail
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to maintain high standards of food quality and safety
  • capacity to work efficiently under pressure

Job Duties

  • Support the Executive Chef in kitchen operations and leadership
  • ensure consistency, flavor, and presentation of dishes meet fine dining expectations
  • lead daily prep and line operations maintaining efficiency and precision
  • manage and motivate kitchen staff including line cooks, prep cooks, and utility workers
  • train, coach, and inspire kitchen staff to perform with excellence
  • monitor food quality, sanitation, and safety standards
  • assist in cost management through portion control, waste reduction, and efficient labor practices
  • maintain communication with front-of-house for seamless guest experiences
