Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or senior line cook in a fine dining or upscale concept
  • culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Support the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations and leadership
  • ensure the consistency, flavor, and presentation of every plate meets fine dining expectations
  • lead daily prep and line operations, maintaining efficiency and precision
  • manage and motivate in real time kitchen staff including line cooks, prep cooks, and utility
  • train, coach, and inspire kitchen staff to perform with excellence and professionalism
  • monitor food quality, sanitation, and safety standards at all times
  • assist in cost management through portion control, waste reduction, and efficient labor practices
  • maintain open communication with the front-of-house to ensure seamless guest experiences
