Job Duties
- Support and uphold the Valley View Casino & Hotel's Standards of Excellence as outlined in the Team Member Guide to Success
- maintain positive guest relations at all times, resolving guest complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction
- greet guests in a courteous and caring manner using personalized service
- clear all tables and reset them for new seating, ensuring tables are set in accordance with venue standards
- assist food servers in serving throughout their meal, observing the guests for any requests for service
- clear all dishes from the table after guests finish eating, providing a clean and neat eating area
- perform as a team member with venue host, supervisors, food servers and kitchen staff in maintaining smooth and efficient operation
- maintain side station to sanitary and professional levels
- complete side work and restocking side stations in a detailed and organized manner according to specifications
- follow Sequence of Exceptional Service Points according to the venue's training manual
- adapt flexibly to a changing clientele and environment
- perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, manager or department director
- conduct all responsibilities in a professional and ethical manner
- maintain consistent and regular attendance record
