Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- two years of restaurant or beverage management experience or equivalent
- one year of progressive leadership experience including mentoring and training
- proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs
- effective English communication skills
- ability to work flexible schedule with all shifts including weekends and holidays
- ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods
- ability to maintain and advance camaraderie in Food & Beverage operations
- ability to multitask and reprioritize throughout the day
- confidentiality and privacy in handling team member information
- strong organizational and analytical skills
- leadership skills including clear direction and positive work environment
- English proficiency in speaking, writing, reading, and understanding documents
- ability to follow instructions referencing guidelines and policies
- problem-solving skills with data collection and analysis
- basic math concepts application
- excellent judgment in guest information
- knowledge of Human Resources policies
- gaming license from Tribal Gaming Agency
- successful completion of auditions, skill testing, and drug screening

Job Duties
- Support and uphold the Valley View Casino & Hotel’s Standards of Excellence mission and vision
- maintain positive guest relations resolving complaints
- monitor and engage staff for outstanding guest interactions
- ensure front of house Food & Beverage operations align with strategic plans
- promote outstanding guest service
- maintain cleanliness to meet health code regulations
- resolve guest complaints and requests timely
- maximize cost effectiveness by complying with budget and labor benchmarks
- enforce beverage standards to protect the alcohol license
- ensure accurate tip reporting
- mentor team members
- provide input and recommendations for operations and guest service
- conduct daily huddles
- ensure safety rules compliance
- maintain knowledge of company facilities and events
- attend special events and training sessions
- perform duties ethically and professionally
- maintain consistent attendance
- adhere to performance standards and policies
