Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in luxury hospitality or bartending
- Valid work authorization for the job location
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to handle physical demands of the role
- Certification in TIPS, ServSafe, and RBS preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience of 1 year in a luxury, fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food and beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
- Ability to operate computer equipment and food and beverage computer systems
- High analytical and organizational skills
- Proficient in speaking, writing, and reading English
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work different shifts and some weekends
- TIPS certification
- ServSafe certification
- RBS certification
Job Duties
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
- Stock the bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware, and condiments
- Ensure that all details of service are performed properly and that every guest receives the highest quality of service
- Utilize the hotel’s computer system to ring up sales, print checks, close checks, and complete closing readings
- Ensure proper pouring, mixing, blending, etc. of drinks
- Service all drinks for service bar area, guests and the bar area
- Properly and accurately close guest checks
