Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior bar or hospitality experience preferred
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations
  • Basic math skills
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 200 lbs
  • Manual dexterity
  • English communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety instructions

Job Qualifications

  • Prior bar experience preferred
  • Knowledgeable in preparation of alcoholic beverages including adhering to all State, Federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
  • Basic mathematical skills necessary to ensure proper delivery amounts, understand portion sizes, and assist with inventory
  • Sufficient manual dexterity of hands and arms to use a knife, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, tap kegs, and extend arms overhead to stock items
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate in English to provide service as requested by bartenders, managers, and guests
  • Ability to read and comprehend safe-handling instructions of products and equipment

Job Duties

  • Prepare perishable garnishes, fruits, and juices according to business levels
  • Assist in maintaining adequate supplies for bar
  • Retrieve and verify orders from storeroom for accuracy
  • Store products properly and in designated areas
  • Ensure cleanliness and compliance with health standards in bar areas
  • Scoop and transport ice to service areas
  • Transport and maintain portable bars and tap units
  • Assist with additional duties as requested by management
