Job Requirements

  • mechanical engineering degree or related discipline
  • ability to support multiple projects while meeting deadlines
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • field or lab-scale testing experience preferred
  • ability to travel up to 50 percent of working days
  • willingness to work in test range, office, industrial, and accidental explosion sites

  • ability to work with a variety of personnel under varied conditions
  • capacity to support multiple projects simultaneously

Job Duties

  • support explosion consequence studies and testing of explosions and related phenomena
  • assist senior staff in explosion-related assessments
  • prepare technical proposals, reports, and presentations
  • conduct field or lab-scale testing related to explosion effects
  • manage multiple projects and meet established deadlines
  • travel to client sites and BakerRisk test sites within the US
  • collaborate with various personnel across different environments
