Job Requirements
- U.S. citizenship
- Final Secret clearance
- Meet DoD SkillBridge program eligibility per DODI 1322.29
- Served at least 180 days on active duty
- Within 12 months of separation or retirement
- Anticipated honorable discharge
- Completed service TAPS/TGPS
- Participated in ethics brief within last 12 months
- Written authorization from unit commander for SkillBridge participation
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on-site
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science with 2 years of experience
- Master's degree with 0 years of experience
- 6 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Experience developing test steps, cases, plans, and documentation
- Experience mapping test steps to requirements
- User-level experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Agile software development practices
- Familiarity with automated software testing
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and network troubleshooting
- Understanding of Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Familiarity with command and control systems
- CompTIA Security+ Certification preferred
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows administration
- Leadership qualities and initiative
- Security clearance at Secret level
Job Duties
- Conduct full life cycle product testing including unit, functional, and integration tests on various architectures and hardware platforms
- Perform as an individual contributor on an Agile Scrum team
- Support troubleshooting efforts alongside development staff
- Develop and contribute to software documentation
- Provide product demonstrations and gather user experience feedback
- Assist with system setup and staffing for demonstrations
- Travel up to 25% to support operational requirements
