Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with good motor vehicle record
  • Experience in foodservice, culinary, restaurant management or hospitality preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships and cold call
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Competitive spirit with goal orientation
  • Problem solving, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Team collaboration skills
  • Tech-savviness including Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Problem solving ability, organization and negotiation skills
  • Team up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Tech-savviness including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus

Job Duties

  • Be the customer champion owning and nurturing customer relationships in a team based selling model
  • Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations and pricing strategies
  • Drive sales success by selling to customers, increasing case growth and acquiring new business through impactful sales presentations and tailored sales approaches
  • Work collaboratively with specialists to assist with top penetration opportunities and new accounts opening
  • Develop new business by identifying prospective customers using market intelligence, leads from existing clients, and attending trade shows and conferences
  • Manage delivery resolution troubleshooting order process problems such as delivery mis picks, short on loads and stock-outs
  • Stay on the move conducting regular check ins, site visits and follow ups to ensure customer satisfaction
