Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Ability to travel regularly with 10-30 percent overnight travel required
- Flexibility to work emergency calls at night, on weekends, and over holidays
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
- No immigration sponsorship available for this position
Job Qualifications
- Vocational or technical degree or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, influence customers, and build trust
- Previous chemical sales experience or commercial laundry industry, operations, or plant management experience
- Two years of relevant work or military experience
- One year of applied mechanical problem-solving experience such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical troubleshooting
Job Duties
- Develop strategic work plans for sales and service consultation calls with new and existing customers
- Partner with plant managers and key personnel to understand operations and laundry challenges
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations on Ecolab’s laundry products, chemicals, processes, and programs
- Cultivate long-term customer relationships to increase sales
- Provide hands-on product and solution training
- Troubleshoot laundry machines and dispensing systems leveraging technical aptitude
