Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of sales experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record
  • Preferred experience in foodservice, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build relationships and cold call
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Competitive drive to exceed goals
  • Skills in problem solving, organization, and negotiation
  • Team mentality for internal and external collaboration
  • Technology proficiency including Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Be the customer champion by owning and nurturing customer relationships in a team-based selling model
  • Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations, and pricing strategies
  • Drive sales success by increasing case growth and acquiring new business through tailored sales presentations
  • Work collaboratively with specialists and internal teams to assist with penetration opportunities and new account openings
  • Develop new business by utilizing market intelligence, attending trade shows, and leveraging leads
  • Manage deliveries according to transportation schedules and resolve order process issues
  • Maintain competitive advantage by staying informed on market conditions, product innovations, and competitor activities
  • Conduct regular customer site visits and follow-ups by driving within the territory
