Job Requirements

Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 8 hours
Ability to reach, bend, and stoop
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous hospitality or restaurant experience
Ability to handle monetary transactions accurately
Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings

Job Qualifications

Previous experience in a comparable restaurant preferred
Strong work ethic and excellent multi-tasking skills
Personable and professional demeanor
Passion for great food and customer service
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

Provide friendly and responsive service to all guests
Welcome and greet guests upon arrival
Inform guests about specials and menu changes
Make recommendations and suggest appropriate beverage pairings
Answer questions regarding menu items including regions of origin and preparation techniques
Explain beverage lists including production regions and flavor profiles
Take food and beverage orders and enter them accurately into the POS system
Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests
Maintain clean and organized service areas
Monitor guest dining experience to ensure satisfaction and respond promptly to requests
Prepare and present final bills, process payments including credit cards and change
Assist fellow service staff as needed
Thank guests and invite them to return
Fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations under management direction
